  • First, it needs to be accessible to our trucks with a total clearance area of 30 ft. high, 60 ft. long, and 12 ft. wide. The box can be placed almost anywhere on your property that’s flat, level, and clear of obstructions. Please ensure there are no overhead wires, tree branches, roof overhang, or any other obstructions.

  • Our trucks deliver the box to your property. We need a total clearance area of 30 ft. high, 60 ft. long and 12 ft. wide. If your driveway isn’t 60 ft. long, the maneuvering area can include the street too.

  • No, we cannot. Storage must be at your location. 

  • While we have not encountered any need for permitting on your personal property, you DO need a permit if you plan to store the box on the street in the city of Portland. Get more information here.

  • In the city of Portland, no person can store personal property on public right-of-way or other public property in excess of 24 hours without a permit. You can apply here.

  • You don’t have to be, but it’s best to be present when the box is delivered to ensure the box is placed in the right location.

  • Yes. Once your container is loaded, you’ll need to padlock it. Otherwise, it’s not secure. You can purchase a padlock at your local hardware store or home improvement center.

  • We cannot move a box if there are items inside. IF you want to move the box EMPTY to another location, we can manage the transportation in this case. But that’s it.

  • No, you’ll need to move your items yourself. Moving is your responsibility.

  • No. We suggest visiting your local hardware store or home improvement center for these materials.

  • No. You would need to purchase this independently. Check to see if your homeowner or business insurance provides coverage first.

  • No. Our pricing is already very competitive.

  • There may be regulations concerning portable containers on your property. We deliver to many properties and neighborhoods without any issues, but it’s always good to check first if on-site storage is allowed.
